I teach 2nd grade and we are fortunate enough to have a computer in the classroom for the students to use. It is an old dinosaur but it still works. However, we do not have a printer in our classroom.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. What is to be said about what words can say?! We cannot print any of our writings that we create in class.

Having a printer in the classroom would allow the students to print their work that they do on the computer. It would also allow me to communicate with the parents through notes, fliers, and calendars that need to be sent home weekly.

By donating money to this project my students now and my many students to come will be able to print their work and keep it for years to come.
