I work with groups of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade elementary school students who are exceptionally talented in the visual arts. The Talented Arts program is designed to provide these exceptional children with an opportunity to develop their creative skills and talents. My school is located in an extremely high-need community in the Deep South, and my students come from a background of extreme urban poverty.

I currently share an art room and it can get pretty hectic. My small group of Talented Arts kids can get distracted and interrupted when our sessions overlap with a regular art class (this happens almost every day).

A portable partition and a couple of work tables will enable me to create a comfortable separate workspace in the art room. This will make a world of difference in the dynamic of the class and help my students stay focused on creating amazing artwork.

Your generosity will make my classroom a happier and better place to create artwork. I want my students to have every possible opportunity to succeed. Something as simple as a partition wall and a couple of work tables can make all of the difference in the world.
