We All Want To See!

My students need a digital LCD projector.

I teach seventh grade Integrated Science which includes, atmosphere, human biology, cells and heredity, and motion and forces. I teach at a very high-need, focus and Title One school in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Don't you hate it when you are doing a class demonstration and your kids are doing more arguing about not being able to see than paying attention to the important academic points they are supposed to get from the demonstration? It is always, "He is too tall" and "I cannot see" or "She is in my way". The big ones are, "He pushed me" or, "Someone is pulling my hair." While the students are all out of their seat, crowded around the center lab station at the front of the room, most are more focus on someone stepping on a shoe or looking to see who is going to get in trouble next. This is a big issue at my school. Because we have limited supplies for each student to have their own set of materials, I have to do a lot more demonstrations rather than each child doing hands-on experiments sometimes. My class is full of students that really want to learn but many times that learning focus is taking away when you just cannot see what you are suppose to see or trying to learn when you cannot see what is going on at the front of the classroom. This particular piece of equipment will help deal with the different learning styles within my classroom.

A Digital Visualizer/Projector will be a great tool for me to utilize in educating all my students. Not only can this visualizer/projector help with class lab demonstrations but it can also project notes, workbook pages, pictures,or review sheets for tests. This machine could capture vivid, live images (even reptile, animals, or lab samples), microscopic slide, etc. This machine has zoom and auto focus. It comes with a memory card and LED lighting. This machine could just about make any projected item that I use in my classroom better for each student to see without the pain or hassle of others disrupting their learning.

This equipment could really help my students a great deal. My students will be absolutely grateful for this tool. This tool can help my students catch up with academics, knowledge of upgraded technology, and can also help my students learn to love the wonderful world of science. Because there are so many areas of science occupation becoming available, there are many jobs out there that can be available to my students. I want to prepare my students for greatness. The Digital Visualizer/Projector is a great tool to help my student get to greatness.
