This is a special education classroom. We have children with varying disabilities year to year including Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Mental Retardation, Deaf/Hearing Impaired, Blind/Visually Impaired. Many of our students are nonverbal or have difficulty communicating and require the use of picture symbols.

Help us communicate! Many of our students require picture symbols to communicate. Year to year, we have students that are nonverbal and require picture symbols to express their wants and needs. We need a classroom laminator to make these picture symbols last from year to year.

With a classroom laminator, we will be able to create reusable picture symbols to use year after year. These laminated picture symbols will help students with Autism, Hearing Impairments, Speech/Language Disorders gain independence through communication.

Your help will ensure that special needs students for years to come will have the materials they need to communicate independently!
