"An ear-catching experience to help students obtain great phonological awareness." I teach first grade at a title one school with a high Hispanic population.

Our school has been behind when it comes to modern technology. We recently purchased e-beams for the classroom with a grant that we received. In my personal classroom we use a smartboard for anything and everything that we are learning about. The purchase of these items is a blessing considering we were the last in the county to receive them. The students absolutely love interacting with the smartboard. There is so much that we could do to make learning enjoyable for all students' if technology was easily accessible.

Wireless computer headphones will help my students during small groups when interacting with the smartboard. I purchased a program that improves phonological awareness and can allow students the opportunity to improve auditory processing skills. If students had wireless headsets they could interact with the smartboard without interference of everything else going on in the classroom during small groups.

Technology is a great tool in the classroom. Students actually enjoy reading, math and all other subjects when paired with modern technology. With your help my students can truly benefit from my new program SuperDuper by improving their auditory processing skills which is extremely important in kindergarten and first grade.
