I teach the science/writing lab for grades Pre-K through 3. Our school is located on a military installation and most of our students currently have at least one parent deployed in a war zone. In addition to that, roughly 80% of our students are on the free and reduced lunch program.

I am looking for more updated and hands-on science materials for our students. Our current materials are worn out, missing parts, or just plain out-dated.

I am looking to purchase several Flip 4 Science Kits. These kits include activity instructions, manipulatives, and supplies to encourage directed, guided, and full inquiry during science experiments. I would like to purchase two of each of the following kits: Plants & Animals; Weather & Seasons; Magnets; and Sun, Earth, & Moon.

You will help make it possible for all my students to practice the scientific method, receive step-by-step scaffolded assistance, and reach the ultimate goal of conducting independent science experiments. My hope that is with these kits the students will have a chance to explore science in a new and exciting manner and open the door to further scientific study for them.
