Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

All of our students need sensory-based projects to develop fine motor skills. I teach Art to 500 students in Grades K-8 in an inner-city public school.

At this time we have an excess of paper and watercolor paint but no other art supplies except the ones I collect or purchase myself. I am unable to provide the supplies I need to run my Arts program according to our Visual Arts curriculum. Our District, State and National Arts curriculum is based on developing the "whole child" by introducing a variety of materials, art history, and real-life experiences such as careers in the art profession and promoting the arts in our community.

I need a variety of sensory, craft and 3-d project materials to present a well-rounded program and enhance student experiences.

Your donation will allow me to make learning fun for all age levels. Our students will be able to use many of these sensory supplies for several years as they grow up in our K-8 school.
