Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Hello! We are an amazing bunch of kindergarten kids! Our school does not have the extra money to spend on extra supplies for the classroom. The teacher usually ends up paying for most of the extra supplies in my classroom. The teacher cannot afford this item and all the other supplies, so we are asking for your kind help. We are a fabulous kindergarten class in a large urban city in Northern California that has a rich diversity of students, a lot from all different countries and ethnic backgrounds. A lot of my students struggle with English so I am giving them every opportunity to learn English with your kind help! We do not have a PTA fund with extra money and in California there is a severe budget cut to our schools. We need supplies desperately for this year and the next. Please help us if you can! These ABC flash cards and wipe and draw cards with all sorts of ABC tactile learning supplies to learn the alphabet will enrich students learning for years to come. I will be able to have them come to this center and have them touch and feel the letters of the alphabet. They will learn the ABC's by playing and feeling the different modalities from this center. I cannot afford to buy such a learning for my room, nor can my school. With the outdated classrooms with limited supplies this will be a welcome to my room and the kindergarteners will thanks you too!! Thank you so much for giving your time or donation even if it is 10 dollars. We need altruistic people like you in our schools! This will be very powerful for my kindergarten classroom. These ABC cards will help them write and learn the alphabet, these cards will be used for years to come. They have to learn the alphabet by first grade, please feel empowered to know you will be helping 21 little people of five years old in an impoverished area, learn how to read. Thank you so much for making a difference in this world and helping the children of our future. With love and gratitude from the best little kindergarten class in Northern California.
