My school is located in South Carolina in a extremely low income area. It has high violence, arrests, drug abuse and homelessness. The students are one to three years behind on their basic skills when entering kindergarten. They are all loving and filled with a need to learn.

My school has limited supplies. I am a first year teacher. There is no digital camera I can use and no place to print the photos. We have limited materials on weather. There is no place to download weather photos without paying for them We need to study our local weather but do not have the tools we need.

We need a digital camera from HP to take pictures of our local weather. When it rains we want to take rain pictures. When it is sunny we want pictures as well. We want to create weather posters and books using pictures we have taken ourselves. The weather is free but we need a digital camera and printer to study the weather outside.

Please join with my class at achieving a thundering success. A hurricane of joy will be felt throughout my classroom when we receive these supplies. Please help us with our weather literacy and this wonderful science study. You can help my class understand the weather in a great new fun way.
