I teach 4th grade. My school is in a high-need community. We are a Title 1 Focus school. Our students come from very diverse backgrounds. Many have lived in refugee camps in various parts of the world.

Our students do not come from a lot. Majority of our students come to each grade level about 2 years below grade level. We, as teachers, do our best to support these children in all aspects of life. We need to teach our children how to be respectful, responsible citizens of our society along with supporting them through the 4th grade curriculum. Our classrooms are filled with students who are just learning the alphabet to students who are capable of 5th grade work.

The games I request for my class will be very helpful. They not only support the teaching I do on a daily basis. They also help the students learn cooperation and team work. They also allow for the differentiation to occur through skill-based workshop stations.

With your support, you will help my children pass the 4th grade not only academically but socially and emotionally. This contribution will be used on a regular basis and it will be gratefully used.
