This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Please help to bring the wonders of China to our highly-motivated and inquisitive classroom!

This year, my student are fascinated by the upcoming Chinese New Year. They are poring over every book our school has on the subject! Unfortunately, this year, our school's limited budget makes it impossible for us to get any new book sets.

My lone copy of "Chinese New Year (On My Own, Holidays)," has begun to fall apart from the frequent use. It is well-written, informative and accessible to all the students in my classroom. It is in high demand and I can't get the tape to hold it together much longer! I would love to get enough copies for everyone in my class!

My students thrive on learning about other people and cultures. Your help will make it possible for them to continue to improve their reading skills and provide them a glimpse into the fascinating world outside of their small community.
