Creative-minded students need new means to present their work. I am a science teacher of 9-12th graders in the fields of conceptual physics and earth science. My school has a wide range of students from all walks of life, but for the most part we are considered moderately low income.

Often my Earth Science students wish to create additional presentations for assignments that they are assigned. LCD projectors are hard to come by at my school and often students are left creating presentations that are watched on a computer monitor or my laptop screen. The LCD will also allow for new ways to receive information from my lessons be that video, PowerPoint, photos and others.

If we were to receive this LCD projector I feel it would not only give those students who already want to make PowerPoint, video or other presentations the forum they crave, but will motivate other students to get up in front of the class with their own presentations and also expose them to using technology.

With your help my students will be able to have their opinions heard, speak their minds, and build skills that will serve them greatly in the future.
