"Lights, Camera, Action! I am a special education teacher in an urban city, where students have very limited resources. I have been working with the students on building their public speaking skills across the curriculum. In my public school system, money is tight, and every opportunity I can find to help my students to excel and learn new skills to make them a better member of society, I do it! My students tend to look at their disabilities and not beyond their disability and give up. If granted this technology tool I can take them further into being a great public speaker.

My students are learning disabled and are often looked over for supplies and opportunities. With this Handy cam we will be able to record the public speaking assignment and play them back for critiquing and re-doing the speech to improve it.

With the gift of a Handy Cam, I will be able to give my students the opportunity to gain the confidence and ability to speak publicly with confidence. The Handy Cam will greatly advance my students' use of technology and the use of the requested materials will help them become better public speakers and enhance the student’s ability to be creative and powerful when making a public presentation.

My students need a Handy Cam to enhance their public speaking skills, in order for them to be able to see themselves in action and then edit the errors, and conclude with a better presentation.
