I teach 7th and 10th grade Language Arts/World Literature in a newly opened 7-12 public school in Arizona.

We are a newly opened school in our district, and the recent financial crunch has severely limited our ability to supply our students with quality literature.

With 40 copies of "The Giver," my 7th graders won't be able to take them home or check them out, but we WILL have a set to read together in the classroom.

These books will help my students learn the importance or being yourself, the value of free thought, and, most importantly and through your funding, the rewards of charitable assistance in your community and towards your fellow man.
