I teach first grade at public school in NC. I love my job and thoroughly enjoy spending it with my students and helping them learn to the best of their ability!

Currently, my students are having trouble with with their map skills. We have read books, used the Internet, and looked at maps online but I still need some help. I found a rug with the USA on it and I think it will be a perfect and fun way to help my students learn their map skills! I would love to have a USA rug so I can help them with their learning.

If we could have a rug of the USA, my students would be able to visually and physically learn about the USA. I want learning to be fun and I think this will be the perfect way for them to grasp vital map skills.

If you think you would like to help grant our wish for a USA map rug, please consider helping fund this proposal. My students will have fun learning about the USA and where they live and also have a comfy area to sit in my room.
