Do you have a particular practice that has helped you reduce stress or achieve success? Our school is a new start-up school that has become one of the top high schools in New York in less than four years. It provides students with a specialized, classical education, including the study of Latin and Greek, in a disciplined academic environment. The course load is rigorous and follows the International Baccalaureate Diploma program. We believe yoga can be a great tool for students to balance stress, stay physically fit and meet the high expectations and rigor of our school, which prepares students to succeed in a challenging college setting.

In addition to classical academics, the ancient practice of yoga is used as the core of the Physical Education program and helps students to balance stress, stay physically fit and meet the high expectations of the school. The practice of yoga provides students with a unique time to develop a relationship with their bodies, their peers and their role interacting with the world around them. The yoga relaxation techniques provide students with opportunities to successfully manage the rigorous academic course load, as well as become aware about how to maintain good health.

We are fortunate to have mats, but we would like to add 15 blocks and 30 straps to support a deeper yoga experience for the students. Your financial support will enhance the yoga experience of our students by giving them the necessary tools to deepen their yoga practice.

Any donor of $50 or greater will be invited to attend a yoga class with students. In addition, all donors will receive updates about the implementation of their gift into the program. Your support is contributing to the development of outstanding students in a very successful school so they may manage their stress and develop into the leaders of the next generation.
