I am a middle school special needs teacher who works with students with learning disabilities in reading, writing and math. My school is also a Title One School in a rural community in North Carolina with limited resources.

My students have no desire to want to learn to read. The materials we have are dated and the students are not interested.

With my students having learning difficulties and being in middle school, most of them don't want to read materials on their learning level. With the hype of the "Twilight Saga" both the males and females in my classroom are dying to read the books in a setting where they can understand it and comprehend the books.

Your amazing contribution will provide my students the opportunity to read a book geared towards adolescent students. This will provide the students the opportunity to have develop their reading comprehension ability along with a greater desire to improve their individual reading skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
