I am a 4th grade teacher at a Title 1 school. This will be my fourth year teaching, and I work with a great group of students who come from low income families.

I have an eager group of students who have fallen in love with reading. I am constantly borrowing books from other teachers and checking books out from our media center. However, with half of the school year over we are running out of novels to read. We desperately need your help!!

With a wide range of reading ability in my classroom, I am asking for “The Magic Tree House” series that includes workbooks. I am also asking for 10 copies of the following titles: "Holes", "Island of the Blue Dolphin", and "Old Yeller". With multiple copies of each title my students will be able to read with a partner or group. This will help increase their fluency and hopefully their ability to comprehend.

Your help will ensure all students in my classroom have an opportunity to find the right book. Reading is an important part of a child's education. Please help me make a difference!!
