My classroom needs an Elmo Document Camera so that students are able to see all that I am teaching.

Making sure that every student learns is very important to me as a teacher. I teach 5th grade in a high-needs, diverse community. Many of my students are language learners and also special education students. Recent budget cuts have made it very hard for my school to provide the necessary equipment for maximum learning. The last two years our school has raised our test scores by 149 points. This document camera will help my students continue this growth. A document camera will help present new ideas and concepts in all subjects, especially in science and social studies. Projecting items onto a screen will help to make sure all students can successfully learn the concepts and standards. Seeing plant and animal cells makes the learning come alive in science. Editing writing and being able to model the revision/editing process is critical to improving those skills in our diverse student body. I am looking to provide the best education possible to my students and this document camera will help. Thank you for your support.
