I teach Algebra I and also Pre-Algebra, and we use scientific calculators almost every day, but we never have enough calculators, and I can't seem to get the students to buy one of their own, so they race to get one every day. It would be so nice to have one to check out to each of them every day so that we could all have one and work together on the problems, and then we could stop every now and then, and see what we are doing wrong. In these classes we do use calculators a lot, although they show their work on paper also.

We have very little supplies to give the students here, and they do not seem to be able to buy their own. Donors choose has been so very generous, and we have appreciated it so very much.

I would just appreciate any help you could give our classroom. These calculators would help my students learn much faster, and would help them on the EOI test in the spring.

You will make it possible for my students to be better prepared for the EOI test in the spring, and by having the calculators to use before hand will give them a lot of practice.
