Catching Up With the Jones'

My students need 5 MP3 players and 5 each of addition and subtraction Learning Wrap Ups.

My math classes are composed of all levels of students from gifted and talented students to special education students. Some of my students are one or two grade levels behind.

My students, despite their math deficits, are very capable of using the latest technology. They enjoy singing and dancing as well. We thought it would be great to upload the Learning Wrap Up songs onto several mp3 players and allow students to study their addition and subtraction math facts quietly while other students are focused on what they need. The mp3 players will be motivational as well. I believe most students will choose to study their math facts just to have the opportunity to use the mp3 players.

You can make studying math facts fun and motivational for my struggling math students. These students are usually reluctant to study facts and draw attention to their difficulties. However, with the use of mp3 players, the topic they are studying will remain secret and they will feel special for being allowed to use mp3 players.

Struggling learners and at-risk students are the most difficult to reach and help. With your donation, you will make it possible for my struggling learners to succeed and have fun doing it.
