My students need 18 sets of multiplication and division fact flashcards, from 0-12.

Our 5th grade class is in desperate need of multiplication and division flashcards so they can study their facts at school and at home.

Our 5th grade class is composed of both half special education students and half general education students in a high-needs community. As we build their number sense and prepare them for the challenges they will face in middle school it is vital that they learn their basic facts. Most of our students are far below grade level in mathematics due in large part to their inability to solve simple multiplication and division problems.

We would use the flash cards that we are requesting during our math center stations on Fridays. Our students would also be able to use these flashcards at home to prepare for daily multiplication and division fact practice. The use of these flash cards would be a mandatory homework assignment in order for our students to catch up on their basic facts.

Your help will ensure that our students become confident and capable math students. The knowledge and mastery of these basic facts will provide them with the confidence to master 5th grade standards. Providing each student with their own individual set of flash cards will empower them to take control and feel like valued partners in their learning.
