I have a class of fabulous elementary students with a variety of handicapping conditions and levels of functioning. We live in a high-need area where donations of money or materials from family members are difficult.

My students participate in our state's alternate assessment. We need to have pictures for their portfolios. Additionally, we need to have printed photos for my guys to access our general curriculum. My little guys also LOVE to see themselves in pictures!

To meet this challenge, we need a good digital camera to take the best photos possible and ink to print them. With these photos, I can make activities appropriate for my little guys and proudly display pictures of them working just like their regular education friends.

With your help, my students will have the opportunity to have more access to and communication with their environment. They can show progress through their alternate assessment portfolios and communicate their knowledge. My special students will be able to demonstrate through pictures their abilities.
