"Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal. Let us introduce ourselves. We are a first grade class of 11 girls and 8 boys and a guinea pig named Puddles!

We love circle time! Our teacher always starts circle time with our favorite activity -- morning message. We have written and read SO MANY morning messages that our white board is almost worn away!

Our teacher has found a new white board easel that has a fresh white board. We will be able to see the words on the board as she writes our morning message. When she calls on us, we can easily come up and circle the capital letters, the periods, and even underline nouns!! The new easel even has a flannel board side that we could re-tell stories on! After our teachers reads us "The Three Billy Goats Gruff", she will let us turn our new easel into a center and we can act out the story with our flannel board pieces!

With your help, we can get that new board and actually SEE the morning message again! Plus, we could re-tell stories with flannel pieces! Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity! hide»
