I teach Transitional First Grade in a military community. My students are six and enjoy learning in centers.

My students learn by doing. We do not have the funds to purchase hands on activities, games, and materials for these students. When students can see, touch, hear, and experiment, they learn much easier.

I need pocket charts, games, and hands-on materials to provide my students with the opportunity to be successful. The birthday pocket chart will teach graphing, the games will help students understand number sense, the numbers and counting game will help my students identify one-to-one correspondence, counting, and number recognition. The telling time mat will encourage my students to learn how to tell time, and the kite game will teach sequencing and number words.

Your help will ensure that my students learn math words and concepts while enjoying lessons. You can make it possible for my students to succeed and make a difference in their future.
