My students need 1 package of glitter paint, 1 package of fluorescent paint, 20 yardsticks, bulletin board paper of various colors, rainbow cording, striped chenille stems, giant pipe cleaners, sharpie accent markers and natural hair paintbrushes.

We are 7 senior classrooms of multihandicapped and autistic students. We will be doing our first annual play which is an adaption of "The Wizard of Oz". Our students are very excited about doing this show. But, because we live in an economically blighted area there is no money to buy the necessary items to make our props.

Our students love to show what they can do. We are excited to be doing a play for our school family and our parents. But, we need help getting the stuff to make our props. That's why we are asking for many colors of bulletin board paper, white kraft paper, brown kraft paper, various kinds of paints and brushes, pipe cleaners, rainbow cording, yard sticks (for lollipops) and markers. These items I hope, will bring a sense of excitement and wonderment to this project.

With the resources that we have asked for, this project will serve many different purposes for this school year. First and foremost is our first annual play. This will be a super opportunity for our students to be in the public limelight in a very big way. It will serve to increase speech throughout all our classes, increase cooperation between students and students and staff. Even though in many ways we are very different from our peers; we too, like to show off our talents and abilities.

With your support, our students will be shining stars! With our support, we will be able to rise and stand tall with much pride. With your help, we can become all we can be.
