Clay is a constant request from my students. I teach Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade art in a high-need community. Our students come from a high-need community and it is our school's mission to provide them with as many opportunities as possible.

I was not able to obtain clay this past school year, and would like to provide my students with this integral part of art in the new year. My students constantly ask about using clay, and I hope to provide them with the opportunity.

Each grade level has its own standard that requires 3-D work. Clay would provide the opportunity for my students to both experience working in 3-D and taking a new experience away with them.

Your support will ensure that my students have this engaging opportunity to get their hands a little dirty as well as learn something new.
