My students need an Explore and Discover Science Center, a bug habitat, a table top hands-on science center, a set of Science discovery boxes and a complete set of miniature animals.

I teach in a high-need, low-income community in Florida. Currently, I teach first grade gifted students. Seventy-five percent of my students are ESOL.

Recently, I was moved from kindergarten to first grade. During my first week of school, I opened my science kits to find that the majority of the materials needed to implement weekly science labs were depleted or no longer working.

I am in need of science manipulatives that will allow my students to work hands-on during science. Specifically, my class needs a variety of science centers that will expose them to the world of Earth Science, Physical Science, and Life Science. This will greatly impact student learning. Not only will my students be able to visually see the content through their workbooks, but they will be able to manipulate the content as well. These centers will create a lifetime of learning.
