My students need school supplies such as pencils, notebooks and a good pencil sharpener, it is difficult in this neighborhood to afford the supplies the children use everyday.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Looking to learn. I have 40 students in 3rd grade math and science who just want school supplies.
We have to share all of our school supplies because many of our parents can not afford to buy them. This is a Title 1 school in a very poor neighborhood. The parents work very hard for what they have, but school supplies tend to be a luxury.
My students love to write stories and it takes a lot of paper and pencils, and an electric pencil sharpener would be a blessing in disguise. They would love to have school supplies because their parents can not afford to replace their supplies when they are used up. Soccer is their thing right now and they play with an old ball that no longer stays inflated.
Your help will ensure that my students can start each day with the supplies they need to learn. We recycle our papers but that just goes so far. It would be a great feeling to know that we had school supplies enough to get through the year.
