Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My 5th grade students love technology, but we cannot print or copy in our building. A school building without a printer or copy machine - Help! We are a classroom of 5th grade learners. We love to learn new things. DFO is one of most important rules - Don't Freak Out! We have a Friendship Pledge and it goes like this... We are friends We welcome others In everything we do. We're honest and caring And use good manners too! We are friends. We stand for justice And act courageously, We work out our problems peacefully. We are friends. We work hard to be The best we can be. Through thick and thin, We'll still be friends: WE ARE FRIENDS!

We have 10 student computers for 43 students. We do not have a printer or copy machine in our building. My students love to publish their writing on the computer, but without a printer, we cannot print their published writing.

We would be so thankful to have a printer/copy machine. It would make a huge, positive difference in our classroom.

Giving this donation, a printer/copy machine, would be a gift used this year and for many years to come.
