Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

"Math is a fun subject for me and my students. We love to use the manipulative's during class time. Children learn more when it is hands on. The math program that I use is Harcourt Math. This is a WONDERFUL program. My students walk away knowing how to add, subtract, count money, tell time, and even multiply before the third grade. These materials that I am asking for will help enforce those valuable skills that kids need in everyday life!!! Making math fun will ALWAYS help kids to learn. I love having fun in my classroom!!! The math journals are great! These journals will help enhance their learning. The journals are designed to build on their learning. The journals will be checked on a daily status. The math chart will help the students to know what has to be turned in. I love teaching math! My student love MATH! They are always excited when it is math time. We have a really good time. I teach second grade in a Title I school. Our school is made up of 61% free and reduced lunches. My classroom has 13 students that qualify for free and reduce lunches. These students may come from low income families, but they are full of spirit to learn. Thank you to YOU and Donors Choose for making teaching fun! I really do appreciate everything you do for students!
