Reading is fun and multi-sensory. This year I will be teaching first grade and I would like to continue to make learning fun. One way I can do this is by giving my students a multi-sensory approach to learning through puzzles and games.

Puzzles and games allow my students to have fun while interacting socially with others. It allows them to practice their reading, writing and verbal communication skills as well as other areas.

I have selected several puzzles and games that focus on Phonemic awareness, spelling, vocabulary, sight words, problem solving, and critical thinking.
