My students need 15 assorted resources, including headphones, a junction box, 2 CD Read-Alongs, paint aprons, a Tote & Play Garden Set, a Growing Things Theme Book Library and safety goggles.

I am PROUD to to say that I teach 20 Pre-K students, in a district that is more than 85% free and reduced lunches.

I will show the students the "way" things grow. They participate in the process, and feel good about their accomplishments.

With early childhood students, the more opportunities the child has to experience new information the more likely they are to retain it. My students will participate in planting and nurturing vegetables. With the various materials I am requesting, my students will develop an understanding of plant cycles, growth patterns, use props to engage with dramatic play, art materials to express their learning, and be beyond excited with the end results!

With your generous donations, my students will have the knowledge and power to plant, and grow food. They will be able to use this knowledge for the rest of their lives. What other kind of experience is greater than this?
