Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My fifth grade students are excited to see that our class slowly but surely is integrating more technology into our learning experiences. My school is in a high-need area and that is just one of the reasons I try to introduce my students to new technology.

I have found myself searching for ways to incorporate music and technology in my class. I love playing music for my students, teaching them how to play different music, and allowing them to experience new technology.

A new age listening center would help my students listen to stories as well as listen to music during learning times. I would love to use this ipod nano for whole class listening activities as well as an individual or small group listening center. In addition, I can use itunes to order music needed in the class as well as audio books.

You generous donation will help my students experience technology that is part of this century. They will also get to enjoy sounds of the present and the past through the flexibility the ipod allows in music appreciation. Thank you in advance for your consideration in helping me make my teaching better.
