My students need the Climb Across America kit to go with our new rock wall and to reinforce students’ knowledge of America’s geography while enhancing physical levels.

I teach Pre-K through 5th graders at a small rural elementary school. We are a low income school with a small budget.

Our school just installed a traverse climbing rock wall because of a grant we received from a local foundation. I want to use that wall for as many teaching opportunities as I can. Our students need reinforcement lesson in math, science, social studies, and reading outside of the class room. We need ways to teach cross curricular lessons during physical education classes.

This kit will help our students with their social studies skills during physical education class. Students learn the locations of the states and capitals and unscramble facts about America while moving across a climbing wall.

The climbing wall is a great tool we are lucky to have. It helps students increase overall strength. Without your help that's all it will do. If you help fund this project we can not only use it for strength training but also with geography skills. We want to use the wall as much as we can to teach our students and we need your help to do that.
