I am teaching College Prep. Physics for the second time in a very small, low-income, rural high school in the mountains of North Carolina. There are less than 500 students for the entire county attending this school.

Funding is even more scarce this year so doing any hands -on lab activities are more difficult. Being able to show videos on topics like motion, velocity, acceleration, projectile motion and more will really help these students learn the subject and be better prepared for their state given end of year exams.

I am trying to give these students as many opportunities as possible to make them more competitive for college. We do not have the funding and available equipment that larger schools in higher income areas have so being able to show videos that correspond to lecture should help students grasp the concepts in this College Prep. Physics course a little better.

Physics is a difficult class as it is so any help with supplies for this class is appreciated and enjoyed.
