"Ever wish you could use games to better understand things in your life? Well, that's what this proposal is all about!

I am a Title One teacher at a high-poverty school in a high-need community. I teach small groups during the classroom reading and math intervention times. I teach groups in grades 1 through 6.

This is my 3rd year teaching and I have very few resources available to me in the district I work in. Throughout my previous 2 years, I have found that the students respond to more engaging activities, such as file folder center activities. However, these file folder activities do not take much time. Because of this, I try to use the activities during intervention times to wrap up a topic. Although these activities are engaging, I have found that generally they do not dive deep enough into the standards at hand because of the limited supply of information.

In order to help my students achieve their highest marks in reading and math this year, I have requested 4 different sets of educational board games, 3 of which are reading and 1 of which is math, that the students can use during our intervention times together. I feel that these educational center games will do wonders in getting my students engaged and excited about learning and expanding their knowledge base!

With your help, you will make it possible for my students to rise up over economic, personal, and social situations. They will be able to recognize their true potential and feelings for education, as well as recognize that learning can be fun at the same time! HIDE

My students need educational center games for their reading and math intervention times to help them rise to grade-level comprehension levels. The cost of this proposal is $553, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ?."
