Students LOVE to hear themselves on tape! I would love to give them the opportunity to record stories that they are reading from books or telling aloud. Just imagine hearin... Students LOVE to hear themselves on tape! I would love to give them the opportunity to record stories that they are reading from books or telling aloud. Just imagine hearing a five or six year old recording their voice as the tell the story of The Three Little Pigs, or The Gingerbread Man. Then picture that student's face as they play it back and hear it! Or picture a student taking home his or her very own cassette tape of the entire class singing "Happy Birthday" to them and then giving a birthday compliment. Just imagine the smiles that would come from that student years in the future as they heard the voices of former classmates!! I would love to be able to provide those moments for my students! In order to do this I would like to have a voice recorder, cassette tapes, and a few storage tubs with labels to house the items. Just think of all the smiles your donation would produce! If you chose to fund this project you will truly be making a difference in the lives of some pretty amazing kids! They might gain confidence in retelling, they might remember stories more, or they might have a great memory from their kindergarten year that they can take with them. But more importantly, the will get the lesson of kindness from your donation. Thank you for considering us! HIDE My students need a voice recording tape player, tapes, and storage for those items.
