Teaching in a computer room in a large urban high school is exciting. Students are enthusiastic about their time in the computer room and it leads to a lot of creative work from them.

The computer room is used so much that the mice have started to break and not work in the way that they should. We have had to give many of our mice respectful burials.

I have 23 computers in my classroom and am down 10 mice. This means that students have to take their turns on the computers or bring mice from home.

Many of the students do not have the resources to being a mouse from home as they live in poorer areas and cannot afford to buy their own mouse.
