Active and Outdoor Learning! I am a fourth grade teacher in Minnesota. I teach all subjects throughout the day and also teach another teacher's science class.

Faced with decreasing supply budgets with no extra help in sight, I was excited to learn about donorschoose.org. A class set of clipboards have been on my list of things to get for nearly 5 years now and I am excited that donorschoose.org will give my students the opportunity to learn differently!

My students are in need of clipboards to facilitate active learning within the classroom and to help them stay organized when we bring our classroom learning outside. Gone are the days when students sit at their desks and work - I like to get my students up and learning around the school and the classroom. Since I teach two sections of science, clipboards will be very helpful when we are making observations outside.

Your donation will help my students with organization skills, as well as help facilitate active learning within my classroom and grade level. Students learn more when they are participating in their learning and these clip boards will help them do just that.
