My students need 52 books from several authors that show character development.

Help make a difference in helping Hawaiian children to love reading. I am a fourth grade teacher on the island Oahu. Currently I am teaching my students the love of reading and writing.

My students come from very diverse backgrounds. They also come from homes that are in high need of financial assistance. This is very apparent in our school because the majority of the school students get free or reduced lunch and breakfast. Many of my students only have access to books through our local public school.

Through your contribution my students will have the resources that they need to exercise their minds and abilities to read. They will have books that interest them and get them excited about reading.

I ask for your help in meeting the needs of our children here in Hawaii. It is through your help that we can make the leaders of tomorrow have a brighter future. Mahalo
