My students need a set of Britannica student encyclopedias.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. P.'s classroom raised $499
This project is fully funded
I am a Third Grade teacher teaching at a Title One school in Utah. I teach students who are learning English as a second language as well as English speaking students. My students are from a small rural area with a high poverty rate with the student population being largely Hispanic.
My students enjoy learning about new and interesting things. They love reading non-fiction books and learning about the world around them. We have many books in our classroom, but do not have a set of encyclopedias. Students need more than one resource from which to study and learn. Encyclopedias would enable my students to have the resources they need to do reports, learn about interesting facts and help them practice their research skills.
With a set of student encyclopedias the amount of research we could do in the classroom would be endless. The students would be able to have amazing facts and information at their fingertips. Their excitement for learning would grow each time they discovered something new.
With your support my students will have the opportunity to discover important and interesting facts about the world we live in. They will have the resources they need to write their own reports on subjects they find engaging. Your gift will create exciting learning experiences for my students.
