I teach the Inclusion Kindergarten classroom at my school. The students in my classroom are bright young minds that sometimes need a little extra hands-on practice.

I am switching grade-levels this year and most of my materials are not suited for the Kindergarten classroom. I have put together some of the most commonly used items begin the year with.

HIGH FIVE-(Hands on Investigations Generate entHusiasm for the big FIVE) will help students reinforce The “Big Five” through the investigations of hands on manipulatives. HIGH FIVE will give the students the opportunity to work with essential learning materials such listening phones, story wands, word journals, and phonics games. Students will strengthen their knowledge through self directed work stations and independent exploration.

Your donation will help my Kindergarten students by allowing me to incorporate a more genuine learning experience by incorporating all three of the learning modalities into our routine. The children will have the ability to explore the world of phonics, phonemic awareness, comprehension, fluency and vocabulary while creating their own learning experiences.
