Books: A Magical Way To Teach

My students need 25 Math and Science nonfiction books, including "Best Book of Weather" and "How Much Is a Million?".

I teach inquisitive, excited 4th graders who learn so much better when they are engaged in reading. They love to wonder about things, and our 4th grade curriculum in math and science gives them the opportunity to wonder about weather, fossils, measurement, and geometry.

But how do I get them engaged and asking questions that will lead them to finding answers? I've know - some well written, exciting, and informative books addressing the subjects I teach!

But in order to get kids reading about these subjects, I need many books available that will spark their interest and teach them about math and science. Fiction books are great for reading enjoyment, but I need some nonfiction books that will teach my students about the wonders of math and science.

With the addition of these titles to our classroom collection, students will be engaged in learning math and science from another exciting resource: books that turn learning into fun adventures. I can't think of a better way to help our school subjects come alive than by engaging students with a great book!
