My students need 50+ great books, including multiple titles from series such as "The Magic School Bus", "How Do Dinosaurs..?" and "Black Lagoon".

I have 28 students in my classroom that are in great need of high quality children's literature. Most of my students come from low economic families and have had little access to quality reading at home.

I want to be able to provide quality literature to my students that they can take home and read with their families. My students currently do not have access to picture books in the classroom. Most of my students are still working on beginning comprehension skills and picture books provide a great opportunity to practice. However, I do not have enough for students to stay engaged in throughout the year.

By purchasing these books, I will have enough to fill literacy backpacks for students to take home each week. In addition, students will be able to take a backpack full of books home each week every week of the year. This means nightly reading with the whole family.

Your help will bring books in to many homes year after year. This is a purchase that will reach many students and help develop a love of reading for the whole family!
