My students need four digital cameras to utilize technology and send photos to family members who are deployed or away for training.

I am a kindergarten teacher in Virginia. The school that I teach at is a public school located on a military base. Nearly 98 percent of our school's population are military dependents. Many of my children have one (or both) of their parents off training in another state or serving across seas.

There are so many activities and moments that happen in our classroom daily. Each day something new develops. I believe every parent deserves to watch his or her child grow and learn. I want to be able to show parents how we grow and what we are learning.

I would like to purchase digital cameras to document our students progress in kindergarten. This will allow me to communicate and share with the parents, wherever they may be. I am also requesting multiple cameras so the students may have access allowing them to show their parents what they are learning through their own vision.

You help in this proposal will enable students and parents to stay connected, no matter how many miles separate them.
