I teach a group of wonderful second graders in an urban community. My class is filled with a great diversity of learning styles which makes it a pretty hopping place.

My students are living in the 21st century, yet our classroom seems stuck in the 20th. The world around our students is filled with many different new technologies, yet their classroom has very few.

We need a little technology in our classroom to tap into a variety of learning modalities. The iPod and audio mixer will allow me to record books and lectures. Students will be able to take lessons and audio books home to reinforce the work we do in class. The speakers will allow the class to hear books and lectures in the class.

Please help my class make a jump into the 21st century. The students were born in it, they should be able to learn in it as well. Thank you!
