"That is amazing!" I hear students say this every time we use the microscopes. I teach Biology in a rural community with a high poverty rate.

We are blessed to have a classroom set of microscopes for my biology lab but we need a greater variety of slides!

Showing students things that they did not know existed as we talk about them in class makes Biology come alive for the students. It is hard to imagine what many of the microorganisms look like and the students love to examine things more closely. Having a variety of slides to study will benefit all of my students on a weekly basis.

You can help my students envision the topics we study in Biology. The labs are a great way to get students interested in science and give them skills that will prepare them for college.
