My students need 1 Bill Nye video on Astronomy, 1 science kit on electricity, 23 writer's notebooks,and 1 electricity book kit.

For the last seven years, I have taught third grade. This coming year, I am looping up with my class, and will teach them in 4th grade. I am very excited about this, yet I am very nervous. Because I am going to a completely new grade-level and I will have the exact same students that I taught this year, I will have to completely "re-invent the wheel." I am going to need a whole new bag of tricks!! Our district is very small and very poor, so there is not extra money for me to buy the additional supplies that I am going to need. My 18 precious students are from poverty-strickened homes, and see school as a safe refuge. I do all I can to make the learning environment fun, while challenging each and every child. My proposal is for several items that I will need to support the curriculum for 4th grade. I am asking for a kit and a set of books on electricity, a writer's notebook for each child, and a Bill Nye the Science Guy video on Astronomy. Your help is greatly appreciated!!
