My students need 25 copies of "The Mysterious Benedict Society", a book about a group of gifted children chosen to go on a secret mission.

To ensure my students become life-long readers, I would like to use this book to inspire my gifted students to challenge themselves during our book club meetings. I work at a creative arts magnet school with about 50 gifted students. I would like to use this book with my 5th graders.

I would not be able to afford buying each student a copy of this book. My students have shown great interest in other books that I have used to teach; Stargirl and Maniac Magee are two examples.

I would like 25 copies of The Mysterious Benedict Society to use as a launching point for students to discuss literature, try to work out the challenges presented in the book and understand that there are other gifted kids like themselves, struggling to find a place in this world.

Your help will ensure that my students will have the opportunity to fully participate in literature circle discussions, be challenged by the puzzles in the book and enjoy reading.
